Man mails lost library book

The $5 cost of doing business for this good samaritan who returned a library book at his own expense. It's a curious business we're in -- or more actually a service industry we find ourselves in, as there is no profit motive -- which is anathema to the American way of commerce. And it becomes even more apparent how counter-intuitive libraries operate when we are forced to mail $.10 overdue notices with a $.41 stamp, all in the name of balancing the books and responsibility training.
